The Iceland’s state energy company, Landsvirkjun plans to manufacture the longest sub-sea electric cable in the world that could allow Iceland to export its abundance of geothermal energy to interested European countries. This is not a “knowhow” in the renewable energy industry with the first researches undertaken since 1980.
