Italy awaits EU clearance on $5.2 bln tariff to cover gas storage costs
Italy's energy authority is awaiting clarity from the European Union on whether a planned tariff to cover costs of gas storage filling, potentially worth 4.8 billion euros ($5.18 billion), is in compliance with the single market rules, two sources said on Thursday.

Oil prices finished higher on Tuesday, despite a disappointing inflation report from the United States, which some saw as a sign that demand remains sustained. Hence, Brent crude rose by about 1% to settle at $82.77 a barrel, while WTI crude increased by more than 1.2% to stand at $77.87 a barrel.

France stalling over EDF wholesale tax

New reactors at Bulgarian NPP to cost up to $14 bln in total
Bulgaria's energy minister Rumen Radev said on Monday that he expects the two planned reactors at the country's Kozloduy nuclear power plant (NPP) using Westinghouse Electric's AP1000 technology to cost up to $14 billion (13 billion euro) in total.
