Output from Equinor ASA’s new Johan Sverdrup oil field in the North Sea will rise to 660,000 barrels per day (bpd) by 2022, from 440,000 bpd at the end of this year, a company executive said on Monday.

Rosneft signs agreements on offshore gas field development with Mozambique

Russian state-run oil company Rosneft signed a memorandum of understanding with Mozambique's National Hydrocarbons Company (Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos E.P., ENH) to develop offshore natural gas fields, a TASS correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.

Daily (22.08.2019): NBP spot surged by 5.4% on Wednesday as the outage at Culzean gas field has been extended

Oil prices diverged on Wednesday. Brent crude price rose due to a higher-than-expected draw in U.S crude stockpiles, while WTI futures dropped due to continued worries about the global economy. Brent crude added $0.27, or 0.5%, to $60.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude lost $0.45, or 0.8%, to end at $55.68 a barrel.

Daily (21.08.2019): NBP Sep19 price jumped by almost 5% due to an outage at the Culzean gas field

Crude oil prices were rather steady on Tuesday. Brent crude inched up by 0.5% to $60.03 as tensions between U.S. and China eased. However, WTI futures dropped by 0.1% to 56.13 amidst continued concerns over global demand.
