Brent crude increased by 0.5% to $75.99 a barrel on Monday as oil demand is expected to rise in the second half of the year and amid declining supplies from Canada and OPEC+. WTI crude traded 0.7% higher at $72.1 a barrel.

1.6 million UK homes joined scheme to cut winter power demand
Some 1.6 million British homes signed up to a scheme paying them to cut electricity use to help prevent power shortages last winter, saving over 3,300 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity, National Grid said on Wednesday.
