On Monday, crude oil prices slipped amid increased concerns about oil demand following China's decision to reduce its benchmark lending rate. Hence, Brent crude and WTI crude decreased by 0.7% to settle at $79.09 a barrel and $71.31 a barrel, respectively.

Finnish wind power pipeline totals 121GW
Finland has a total of 121GW of new wind power capacity in line to be installed across the country, comprising 386 onshore wind projects and 32 offshore wind farms. But the bulk of these projects are still in the early phases of development, a report by the Finnish wind association said.

Italy must add 190 GW of renewables by 2035 to meet G7 pledge
Italy needs to add 190 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy capacity by 2035 if it wants to meet a G7 pledge to reach a close to net-zero power system in the next decade, climate change think-tank ECCO and consultancy firm Artelys said.
