Poland: agreement of $1.5 billion signed by Tauron for its new coal-fired unit

The No.2 utility Tauron in Poland inked a contract on Thursday with builders Rafako and Mostostal Warszawa to construct a hard coal-fired unit with a capacity of 910 megawatt at its Jaworzno plant, as stated by the companies.
