Daily (10.04.2019): NBP spot soared by over 10% on Tuesday amid system undersupply

Crude oil prices pared earlier gains on Tuesday, following an unexpected increase in U.S. crude inventories and Russia’s comments on a potential rise in its oil production after OPEC’s meeting in June. However, OPEC-led supply cuts as well as U.S. sanctions against Iran and Venezuela capped losses. Brent crude price edged down by 0.7% to $70.61 a barrel. The same decline was noticed in WTI futures, which ended at $63.98 a barrel.

Bulgaria eyes to receive additional gas from Azerbaijan

Bulgaria is interested in additional gas supplies from Azerbaijan, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov told reporters, Azernews informed. Borisov noted that during the meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the issue of the construction of an interconnector for connecting to the TAP for the delivery of 1 billion m3 of gas to Bulgaria was discussed.

Daily (12.03.2019): Oil prices soared by 1.3% on Monday on continued OPEC-led supply cuts

Crude oil prices gained ground on Monday, as Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said that OPEC-led supply cuts will unlikely stop before the group meeting in June. Both Brent crude and WTI futures rose by 1.3% to $66.58 a barrel and $56.79 a barrel respectively.

Daily (07.12.2018): Crude prices down by around 3% on Thursday, ahead of the final decision on OPEC supply cuts

Oil prices were strongly bearish on Thursday, as the OPEC meeting in Vienna ended without an announcement of a decision to reduce crude supply. Brent crude price plunged by 2.5% to $60.06 a barrel. WTI crude lost 2.7% to $51.49 a barrel. OPEC and its allies are likely to discuss today about the terms of supply cuts in order to support the market.
