On Sunday, January 27th 2019, PGNiG Polish Oil and Gas Company will receive another load of liquefied natural gas. It will be the 50th delivery to the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście. Thus the total LNG volume purchased so far by PGNiG will amount to approximately 5.7 bcm after regasification.

Oil crude prices recovered somewhat on Friday, tracking bullish stock markets. However, continuing concerns over a persistent supply glut have limited gains. Brent crude price edged higher at $52.2 a barrel. In the meantime, the price for WTI crude surged by 1.6% to settle at $45.33 a barrel.

Russian oil giant Rosneft said on Thursday it had signed a contract with China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina) on the delivery of up to 2.4 million tonnes of oil to the Asian country in the course of 12 months.

Oil prices gained ground on Monday, on expectations for a reduction in Saudi Arabia’s output, which hit a record level of approximately 11 million barrels per day this month. Moreover, crude inventories at the delivery point for WTI at Cushing, Oklahoma rose less-than-predicted from Tuesday to Friday. However, gains were capped by persisting uncertainty over global economic growth. Brent crude was at $60.48 a barrel, while WTI crude ended at $51.63 a barrel, adding 2.9% and 2.4% respectively.

Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) has signed a supply deal with Houston-based Cheniere for the delivery of more US LNG to the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście.
