Centrica warns of further energy price rises

Eni sells a huge stake in Trans-Austria Gas pipeline

The Italian energy group Eni has signed an agreement with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Spa (CDP) for the sale of 89% stake in the Trans-Austria Gas pipeline for 483 million euros ($700 million) plus reimbursement of a shareholder loan granted by Eni to the company equal to 192 million euro.

Scottish Power to soar energy bills from August

Scottish Power has recently announced increases for domestic electricity prices and gas, following the second rise in wholesale energy costs since November 2010, with gas bills going up by 2% and electricity by almost 9 %.
