Daily: Crude oil declines on U.S gasoline surplus
Crude oil prices dropped on Wednesday following an increase in U.S. gasoline stocks which prompted selling, then crude oil extended losses in late trading after U.S. equities fell in choppy trading, dragged down by the Fed released minutes of its April 30-May 1 meeting.

Poland will not apply taxes on shale gas production by 2020
After several foreign companies, as Exxon Mobil, Canada’s Talisman Energy and US oil firm Marathon, quit the Polish market in the past few months, the finance minister, Jacek Rostowski, has announced that Poland will not tax shale gas production until 2020 and will improve regulation, in a move which aims to attract energy explorers.

Daily: European spot power prices up on colder weather
Crude oil prices dropped on Tuesday dragged down by a significant decline in U.S. gasoline futures and as an industry report released by API indicated stronger fuel stockpiles in the world’s largest oil consumer. Brent crude oil futures for July delivery closed 89 cents lower at $103.91 per barrel, after having fluctuated above $105 and to a low of $103.51. U.S. June crude oil futures, which expired on Tuesday, ended the session 55 cents lower at $95.16 a barrel after trading between $95.50 and $96.97, while July contract ended 75 cents lower at $96.18 a barrel.
