A new solar plant in California.
The solar photovoltaic facility will be constructed in three projects that will start this month with a capacity of 45 megawatt and for a total sum of $220 million. This project appears as California regulators voted last week to raise the state’s renewable energy objective to one third by 2020.

Total anticipates stable production in 2011

Exploration assets sold by Petrom in Russia
The major oil and gas group in Romania, Petrom, owned mostly by Austrian OMV, sold 75% of exploration assets in Ring Oil to its minority partner Mineral and Bio Oil Fuels Limited in Russia, since it focuses mainly on the Romanian and Kazakh activities. The total value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Gamesa provides wind turbines for the largest wind farm in Central America
The Spanish wind manufacturer will provide 51 G87 2- MW turbines to Energia Eolica de Honduras S.A. Total installed capacity of the wind park shall be 102 MW.
