Daily (05.12.2022): NBP spot settled down on Friday amid forecasts for strong LNG arrivals

A bearish trend was seen in crude oil prices on Friday ahead of a meeting of the OPEC+ on Sunday and an EU ban on Russian crude on Monday. Thus, Brent crude decreased by 1.5% to settle at $85.57 a barrel. WTI crude ended around 5% lower at $79.98 a barrel.

Europe wary of Turkish hub to hide gas 'made in Moscow'

President Vladimir Putin's plan to make Turkey a hub for Russian gas in theory could allow Moscow to mask its exports with fuel from other sources, but that might not be enough to persuade Europeans to buy, analysts and sources said.
