Daily: European spot power prices mixed on stronger wind output in Germany, colder weather in France
Brent crude prices declined 2 percent on Monday, dragged down by European Central Bank bond-buying, while U.S. crude boosted 1 percent on a smaller-than-expected increase in stockpiles at the main oil hub at Cushing, Oklahoma, driving to a narrowing gap between the two benchmarks. Brent decreased $1.20, or 2 percent, to settle at $58.53 a barrel, while U.S. crude rose by 39 cents, or 0.8 percent, to close at $50.

Gamesa grasps 12MW in Germany
Spanish wind turbine maker Gamesa has obtained an agreement with German energy supplier DEW 21 to construct the 12MW Horst wind farm in Schneverdingen in Lower Saxony.

Turkey to install 61 GW of renewables capacity by 2023

Siemens to install 360 MW of onshore wind power in South Africa
German engineering company Siemens has been awarded another significant wind power contract, with an order for 157 wind turbines for three projects in the South African province of Northern Cape. The customer is a consortium led by Mainstream Renewable Power.
