Poland might build a LNG terminal on the Baltic Sea by 2021

Earlier this week, Poland announced about its intention to build a second liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the Baltic Sea by 2021 with an estimated investment of 700 million euros ($761 million), as a possible alternative to a scheduled gas pipeline to Norway.

Statoil purchases 12.5% of Dogger Bank offshore wind project

The Norway based company Statoil, recently announced about the intention to acquire 12.5% in the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm from Statkraft. The acquisition will increase Statoil participation in the 4.8GW offshore wind up to 37.5%.
