BP to enter Southern Corridor Pipeline battle

Total and Eni Q2 profits hit by weaker US dollar and Lybian disruptions

The French and Italian oil giants, Total SA and Eni SpA reported on Friday lower quaterly earnings, despite higher prices for oil, blaming unfavourable exchange rates, a dollar weakness and production losses following war disruptions in Libya which closed some oil fields.

BP to invest £3 billion in North Sea fields despite tax hike
