Oil prices edged lower on Tuesday, as a bearish outlook continued to weigh on prices, with traders expecting Saudi Arabia's production cut not to extend beyond July, thereby easing supply concerns. Brent crude slipped by 0.5 % to settle at $76.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude traded at $71.74 a barrel, down by 0.6% day-on-day.

Daily (12.05.2023): Oil prices dropped by about 2% on Thursday, undermined by the prospect of renewed Iraqi Kurdish oil exports to Turkey
Oil prices continued losing ground on Thursday, weighed down by the prospect of resumption of Iraqi Kurdish oil exports to Turkey, as well as by a worrying macroeconomic outlook. Thus, Brent crude declined by about 2% to settle at $74.98 a barrel. WTI crude dropped by around 2.3% to $70.87 a barrel.

Daily (10.05.2023): European carbon prices extended gains for the third day in a row, boosted by bullish sentiment and moderate volume
On Tuesday, oil prices marked a third consecutive day of gains, led by a U.S. report that slightly boosted its outlook for global demand for refined products. Thus, Brent crude added 0.6% to settle at $77.44 a barrel. WTI crude advanced by around 0.8% to $73.71 a barrel.
