Iran’s top oil buyers in Europe announced that they are making substantial cuts in oil supply just some months in advance of European Union sanctions. Reducing oil flows to the continent will start in March and will imply cutting off more than a third of supply or over 300, 000 barrels per day.

Daily- Brent firmer on Iran’s threats to cut off oil supplies to Europe

Brent crude oil futures opened Thursday’s session above $117 a barrel on hopes of demand growth revival as Greece inches closer to getting its debt crisis under control and Iran’s new threats to cut off oil supplies to Europe. Front-month Brent added 61 cents to $117.81 a barrel by 1014 GMT, rising for an eighth straight day.

Russian gas supplies returning to normal levels in the most European states

Russian gas flows to Bulgaria, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Poland and Greece have been reinstated to normal volumes over the weekend, while the gas deliveries to Romania, Germany, and Italy are increasing, European Commission press secretary Marlene Holzner said on Monday.
