Three partners to invest €1 billion in Dunkirk LNG Terminal

Bosch to invest 520 million euros in a solar project in Malaysia
A worldwide known service provider, Bosch Group, aims to extend its photovoltaic business by building a major manufacturing site near Penang, in the Batu Kawan region of Malaysia. The total amount of the investment is 520 million euros, while the project construction is planned to be started this year and completed by the end of 2014.

Italy to invest 140 million Euros in wind power in Egypt
Italgen Group, which already operates already in 22 countries around the world, will invest 140 million euros into the development of wind energy projects in Egypt that will be situated in Gabal El Zeit area and have a total capacity of 120 MW.

Global wind energy Outlook 2010
In 2010, the leader in the global wind industry was China accounting more than half of the global wind market. The total global installed offshore wind capacity reached 3117.6 MW, of which 1161.7 MW was added in 2010, representing a growth rate of 59 percent from the previous year.

America’s wind industry ICREASED by 15% in 2010
America’s wind power increased by 15% in 2010 with 5,116 MW new installed capacity last year totaling 40,181 MW, enough to supply electricity to more than 10 million American households. The annual report submitted by American Wind Energy Association shows a significant increase in wind power by 35% since 2007 underscoring the role of this industry in the country’s economy following natural gas as basic energy generation source.
