Norway’s oil strike

About 700 Norwegian offshore oil and gas sector workers were to continue their strike, after a second round of talks with employers failed last Wednesday. The strike has shut down five oil and gas fields on the Norwegian continental shelf and has already cut Norway's oil production by around 13 percent and gas output by 4 percent.

Turkey and Azerbaijan to build the TANAP gas pipeline

Turkey and Azerbaijan signed an agreement for the construction of a new pipeline, called Trans-Anatolia Gas Pipeline (TANAP), which would transport gas from Shah Deniz II fields in the Caspian Sea across Turkey and would become part of the basis of a new Southern Corridor gas route to European markets.
